Public Washrooms

One thing every visitor can use is a list of public washrooms on the Bruce. We did our best to come up with all the possible stops.

Tobermory

• The Chi-Cheemaun ferry terminal and information booth offers clean public washrooms to customers.

• Municipal harbour office on the north side of Little Tub Harbour offers free clean public washrooms. Showers are also available for a small fee (see the harbourmaster for details).

• The concession stand building at the Tobermory ball diamond has a modest flush toilet and running water.

• The Tobermory Information Centre on highway #6 has free clean washrooms open to the public. Typically open until 9:00PM during the busy season.

• The National Park Visitor Centre on Chi sin tib dek Road has public washrooms that are available for use by visitors to the park.

South of Tobermory

• Dunks Bay Beach offers a water free pit toilet.

• The St.Edmund’s museum just south of Tobermory offers a seasonal portable toilet.

• Little Cove offers a portable toilet.

• Tobermory Municipal Airport on Warner Bay Road has a public washroom open May 1 to October 15.

• Cameron Lake offers water free pit toilets at Adams Park across the street from the beach.

• Cyprus Lake and Halfway log dump offer pit toilets.

• Singing Sands at Dorcas Bay has flush toilets.

• Crane River Park offers a water free pit toilet.

• Dyers Bay Dock offers seasonal portable toilets.

• 334 Barney’s Blvd. in Miller Lake offers a seasonal portable toilet.

• The Municipal office on Lindsay Rd 5, approx 5 min north of Ferndale offers free, clean, public washrooms. Open Mon-Fri, 8:30am-4:30pm.

Ferndale

• Ferndale Park & Information Centre on highway 6 offers free, clean, public washrooms.

• The Ferndale ball diamond has seasonal portable toilets.

Stokes Bay

• Sandy Beach at Black Creek Provincial Park has a waterless pit toilet & change rooms.

Lion’s Head

• Lion’s Head Beach on Phillip Forbes Street offers free, clean, public washrooms.

• Harbour office at the Marina offers seasonal public washrooms.

• Arena and Community Centre offers free, clean, public washrooms. Hours vary.

South of Lion’s Head

• Pike Bay Park offers a water free pit toilet.

• Red Bay has flush toilets.

• Oliphant  beach park has flush toilets.

• Hope Bay has new washrooms.

• Mar picnic area on highway 6 offers a rest stop with picnic tables, ample parking and portable toilets.

• Cape Croker Park has pit toilets and a swimming area at Sydney Bay.

Wiarton

• Berford Lake has a Municipal sand beach with washrooms.

• Bluewater Park has washrooms at the information booth and an extensive picnic area. Washrooms are subject to hours of operation.

• South Bruce Peninsula Municipal office on highway 6 in downtown Wiarton offers washrooms around back. Hours vary.

Sauble Beach

• Public Library on Community Centre Drive offers public washrooms.

• Right along the beach on Lakeshore Blvd. there are public washrooms and change area across the road from the beach.
